Hi, I’m Dr. Caitlin — a family physician, educator, mentor, coach for women physicians, and mom to energetic twin boys. In 2022, I hit a breaking point and realized something had to change or I would likely have to walk away from medicine.
After years of over-functioning, over-giving, and trying to meet everyone else’s expectations, I found myself depleted, disconnected, and questioning whether the career I had worked so hard for was truly sustainable.
What I eventually realized was this: while I couldn’t immediately change the healthcare system or all of the circumstances surrounding me, there were aspects of my experience that I did have agency over.
Thankfully, I had already been immersed in the coaching and personal development space since 2017, working with various coaches and mentors and studying human behaviour. When I reached my own breaking point in medicine, my experience of burnout became the catalyst for me to fully apply those learnings to my life and work as a woman physician.
Over time, I was able to create a version of medicine and life that felt more sustainable, fulfilling, and aligned with who I truly was.
I’m happy to say that I still practice family medicine today — but in a version of my career that I have intentionally designed on my own terms.
Now, it has become my mission to help other women physicians do the same.

here's the dish on me.

Nice to meet you, Doc!

LET's Connect
If you’re exhausted, stretched thin, or quietly questioning how much longer you can continue practicing medicine this way, you are not alone.

Women physicians are carrying an extraordinary amount — the emotional weight of patient care, increasing administrative burden, impossible expectations, and the pressure to keep functioning at a high level no matter what is happening internally.

And yet, despite all of it, you continue showing up.
What I’ve learned through both my own experience and my work with other physicians is that while we cannot always immediately change the system around us, we can change the way we move through it.

We can develop greater awareness of our thoughts, emotional patterns, boundaries, needs, values, and ways of relating to our work. We can stop abandoning ourselves in the process of caring for everyone else. And we can create careers that feel more sustainable, intentional, and aligned.
Sometimes that does mean a major career change — and occasionally even an exit from medicine. But in my experience, more often it looks like learning to operate differently within the life and career we already have.

My role is to help you reconnect to your own agency, voice, and capacity so you can build a version of medicine and life that actually works for you.

You are worthy of building a life and career that you love

My Message To Women Docs

I know firsthand how easy it is for women physicians to lose themselves inside the demands of modern medicine and family life.
I also know that meaningful change becomes possible when we begin developing the skills we were never formally taught in our medical education — emotional awareness, boundaries, self-trust, discernment, and the ability to move through medicine in a more intentional and sustainable way.
Coaching allows me to support physicians in deeper personal and professional transformation — work that impacts not only their experience of medicine, but often their relationships, family life, leadership, and overall wellbeing.
